Xian Lim’s boundless talent
Surpassing the fiasco together, KimXi might be on their way to a lifetime partnership
Xian Lim is dominating Netflix with his challenging portrayal in the psycho-thriller film UnTrue and now for a romantic comedy in Love The Way U Lie. Although the film was among the movies not able to hit the cinemas because of the pandemic, the anticipation for this feel-good movie coming to the streaming site is unparalleled.
Produced by Viva Films, Xian Lim will be joined by Alex Gonzaga and Kylie Versoza in filling us with laughter.
Xian deserves these consecutive breaks for all his hard work which got more evident during the quarantine.
Recently, his musical prowess has been the talk of the town because of his performances uploaded on YouTube. Appearing on Viva Music Jam last 31 July, Xian treated the viewers with charming renditions of John Legend’s “Ordinary People” and the classic “Your Song” by Elton John.
If we were blown away by his piano skills, prepare to be amazed even more because Xian might showcase his proficiency with other 16 instruments on his channel soon. Among these are trombone, guitar and keytar, so to say that Xian is a music lover is an understatement — a virtuoso might suffice with his amazing talents.
Lauding Xian for being an all-around artist does not end with his wide acting and musical range because he is also a ventriloquist — a person who is good at making a sound appear to come from elsewhere like a puppeteer.
This not-so-hidden talent already wowed many people when Xian introduced his puppet Jun-Jun and did the said stagecraft in his various show guestings. And who knows, we might be given the chance to see Xian’s ventriloquism this new season of quarantine.
Xian and Kim’s road to forever
Xian’s presence in the online world during the lockdown is outstanding, but he might not fully abide with his long-time girlfriend, Kim Chiu’s reminder “Bawal Lumabas” (Forbidden to go out) because of work resumption.
Nonetheless, all the defense Xian did after Kim received countless criticisms over her accidental reminder that eventually became a lockdown anthem are worthwhile because Mega Manila is now back to Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ.) Surpassing the fiasco together, KimXi might be on their way to a lifetime partnership.
Recently Xian uploaded a compilation of their European adventures on Instagram. “Everytime I’m with you, it still feels like the first day we met... butterflies and stuff you know… things like that,” he wrote.
Without mentioning what the occasion was, die-hard KimXi fans were commenting that it might be for the couple’s seventh year anniversary. And since they passed the fifth year itch, a lot are already ringing the wedding bells for the two.
Are Xian’s consecutive acts showing sweetness to his long-time girlfriend a prelude to something bigger like an engagement?
