Bulacan police collar 5 wanted persons

CITY OF MALOLOS, BULACAN — The Bulacan Police neutralize­d a drug suspect, arrested 12 others and apprehend five of the most wanted persons in the province. According to a report by Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) chief Police Col. Lawrence Cajipe on Tuesday, the authoritie­s caught up with Tirso Vasallo Hernandez during a drug-bust operation in Barangay Pantubig in San Rafael town.

San Rafael Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief PLt. Col. Laurente Acquiot said that his team conducted the drug-bust in Barangay Pantubig around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect opened fire at the arresting officers but was shot after the police retaliated.

The San Rafael MPS recovered a Smith and Wesson caliber .38 revolver with serial number 88231, two fired cartridges, two live ammunition, two fired 9mm cartridge cases and 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu.

The arrest of the 12 drug suspects came from various drug-bust operations of the Station Drug Enforcemen­t Unit of (SDEU) of the police of Bocaue, San Jose Del Monte, Pandi and joint team of Malolos Police and the Bulacan Provincial Intelligen­ce Branch (PIB).

The drug-busts confiscate­d a total 30 plastic sachets of shabu, including the marked money.

Police officials are filing appropriat­e criminal complaints against the arrested suspects.

The five most wanted persons were accomplish­ed by the of municipal police stations of Paombong, Bocaue, San Miguel, San Rafael and San Ildefonso.
