From the bloodied, tattered looks that came in the aftermath of their latest single “Come Back Home,” the six monarchs of all-rounder group ONEUS emerged amidst the majestic and prince-like visuals in the concept photos for their highly-anticipated fourth mini-album called Lived to be released on 19 August, 6 p.m. KST.

“Come Back Home” tells the tale of the six monarchs on a mission to save a young king from the marquis.

It is the group’s first appearance after participating in the month-long journey towards the end of Mnet’s survival TV show Road To

Kingdom that gained the group more To Moons (their official fandom name) waiting for more content from the six-member group. Lo and behold, a comeback is what they shall get! According to News1, ONEUS is piecing together the final touches of the comeback as well as the music video of the title track, which is yet to be filmed. On the first week of August, the group finally dropped the concept photos — revealing the angelic, but at the same time lethal, side of ONEUS in both the group and individual photo teasers.

The first image showed the members, consisting of Ravn, Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion, donning outfits like royals plucked out of the fairytale worlds and seem to be enjoying a small, yet elegant feast suited only for princes such as themselves. Next to arrive were the individual photos that highlighted each member’s charms: from the oozing charisma of Ravn sitting on a throne like a king with blood on his hands, the soft, rainbow-colored hair of Hwanwoong topped with a crown of thorns, to the innocent and dreamy flower boys Keonhee and Xion who also took a dark and grim turn from being pure to downright mysterious and frightening. Seoho and Leedo’s teasers are the last to be released.

Previously, the group released a single called “Come Back Home” that was introduced as the official track made for the last round of Road

To Kingdom. It was the last performance for the show, their former stages being the intense performances of “Warrior’s Descendant,” “Lit” and “Be Mine.” This ultimately earned them a spot to the final rounds where they were joined by the five remaining teams: The Boyz, PENTAGON, ONF and VERIVERY, with The Boyz getting hailed as the show’s winner. “Come Back Home” tells the tale of the six monarchs on a mission to save a young king from the marquis, and Lived is said to pick up from the dark battle the group has left off. Its music video was released soon after

Road To Kingdom last 27 July.

Last March, the six-member group released a sad yet refreshing track called “A Song Written Easily” in their first single album In Its Time, showcasing the beauty of the landscapes in New Zealand as well as the “good” in goodbyes.

Lived marks the second comeback of the group for the year.

ONEUS made its debut last 2019 with “Valkyrie” under Rainbow Bridge World and has been making its name known in the K-Pop scene through hit songs such as “Twilight,” “Lit” and “A Song Written Easily.”

After the last of the remaining teasers are released, no one will be able to escape the overflowing talent and visuals of the new group to watch out for — dead or alive.
