Munti moves to boost business
Muntinlupa champions MSME development through various programs including the Tulong Negosyo program
The city government of Muntinlupa continues to lay down stopgap measures to boost the local economy, as Metro Manila remains under a state of general community quarantine.
For those opening businesses in the city, the local government pinpointed areas where they can help to prop up the economy.
The Muntinlupa local government has provided a P1 million loan assistance to Salon de Ayala Service and Credit Cooperative.
The move is a bid to help local businesses recover from the economic disruption brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The loan assistance agreement to the cooperative was consummated af ter a memorandum of agreement was signed between the city mayor and Salon de Ayala head Pam Godinez and cooperative chairman Angeline Teodoro.
Also present during the formal signing of the loan assistance were City Cooperative officer Cynthia Viacrusis and Muntinlupa Councilor Eliot Martinez.
As of 17 September, the city has 3,967 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 3,188 recoveries, 649 active cases, 130 reported deaths, 452 suspect cases and 581 probable cases.
The city government assures Muntinlupa business owners of continuing concern and support during these trying times.
