Seeing all those house tours on YouTube and interior ideas on Pinterest over the course of on-off quarantine surely widened your imagination on what kind of property you like. But after pinpointing what you really want, the next question is when will you buy it.

Now is the best time to get your dream home, because economic recovery and relaxed property loans are now running on the same track.

National Economic Development Authority’s (NEDA) latest report showed that the Philippine economy is gradually recovering after months of adjustments, because Mega Manila has reopened its doors for business and has adjusted with new normal protocols.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and major banks now put more options for property loans and higher loan limits, so grab the opportunity because when the economy gets back on track, property loans might revert to pre-pandemic rates.

And to top it all, almost all real estate developers moved their services online, so no need to worry about fulfilling all requirements physically.

What to consider for a home?

If you are now ready to spend your hard-earned money to buy your dream house, here are the things to consider:

Efficient processing. As mentioned, developers are now online, so check which are the most efficient. Are their agents approachable? Do they have the necessary digital sales kits where you can find all the information you need? If yes, move on the next concern.

Sustainability is the name of the game these days. If you can have lush spaces to wander around for your mental health while still keeping in touch with industrial life, then invest now.

Sustainable environment. Do a rigorous background check on the community you are about to move into. Apart from strategic locations, does it provide sufficient space for your family’s wellbeing? Does it have a good management team that serves the community?

Sustainability is the buzzword these days. If you can have lush spaces to wander around for your mental health, then now is the time to buy that house.

Socially aware community. We are living in a new era because real estate developers now consider the social awareness of residents, especially the millennial-gen Z combination. Choose a community that engages in socially relevant programs.
