P1.7M shabu confiscated
A total of P1.7 million worth of shabu was confiscated from a suspect who was arrested in a buy-bust operation by the Kamuning Police Station (PS10) yesterday in Manila.
Arrested was Norist Ambag, 35, a resident of Arlegui Street, Barangay 383, Quiapo, Manila.
After receiving information about the suspect’s illegal drug activity, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of PS10, under P/Lt. Col. Bernouli Abalos, set up the operation at around 4:30 p.m. on 20 September at Quiapo Footbridge.
A poseur buyer bought P200,000 worth of shabu from the suspect, which led to his arrest.
Confiscated were about 250 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P1,700,000, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.
The suspect will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
