DTI livelihood kits reach Morong

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal and the Morong local government unit recently distribute­d livelihood kits to retail store owners.

A total of 24 micro enterprise­s from Barangays Lagundi, Caniogan-Calero-Lanang, Maybancal, San Pedro, San Juan, San Jose, San Guillermo and Bombongan each received P5,000 worth of livelihood kits under the DTI’s Livelihood Seeding Program–Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).

LSP-NSB provides assistance to qualified affected individual­s that can aid, restore and improve their businesses to cushion the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before the distributi­on of the kits, an orientatio­n was held at Negosyo Center Morong. The awarding was graced by DTI regional director Marilou Toledo, DTI Rizal director Mercy Parreño, Mayor Olivia De Leon and Vice Mayor Julian Joseph de Ungria.
