An illegal drug operation on Monday night conducted by the Novaliches Police saw a drug suspect yielding about P2,040,000 worth of shabu.

The Novaliches Police (PS4) Station Drug Enforcement Unit collared Randy Torres, alias “Ritchi,” 29, a resident of Caloocan City, in a buy-bust operation at around 9 p.m. in front of Nova Mall along Quirino Highway, Barangay Nova Proper, Quezon City.

An undercover operative acted as poseur buyer and bought P119,500 worth of shabu from the suspect.

Aside from the buy-bust money, 300 grams of shabu valued at P2,040,000 and a cellular phone were also seized.

Torres had a previous case for robbery/snatching in 2015 filed with the Bulacan Provincial Trial Court.

The suspect will face charges with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
