“I am involved in the national task force against COVID-19 and, as of now, our direction is towards gradually reopening our economy,” saad ni Dizon sa isang online interview ng Sports Page.

“And we thought that what better symbol of trying to get back to normal – or new normal as they say – was restarting the most important pastime in the Philippines, which is basketball,” dagdag niya.

“We had our presentation before the PBA board of governors and we showed that Clark City is a very viable location for the PBA bubble,” sabi ni Dizon.

“Number one, it is very secure and number two, we can provide facilities, infrastructure, health care facilities and leisure activities. We are confident that we can provide a safe bubble,” dagdag niya.

“It’s not just Clark which would be inside the bubble. All venues for practices and official games would be inside the bubble, which means that everybody who would under would be subjected to strict protocols and checking of any clinical symptoms that would be done by our health experts and doctors,” sabi pa ni Dizon.

“We will continue to support in any way we can and, of course, everything is still subject to the government’s approval, but we believe that if everything is in place, then they will be very open to it,” sabi ni Dizon.
