Boracay’s luxury hotel property Discovery Shores Boracay reopened its lavish rooms and amenities this weekend, 17 October.
While the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on the management of emerging diseases continues to remind the public to strictly follow the health measures and practice physical distancing as part of mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic, the Boracay resort did its own homework by incorporating cleanliness and sanitation protocols under its Home Safe Program.
From arrival to check-out, the resort adheres to the guidelines of the Department of Tourism and the requirements of the local government. Moreover, as a testimony to the resort’s commitment to safety, Discovery Shores Boracay, together with its sister Discovery hotels around the Philippines, has recently partnered with Lysol, a global leader in health and hygiene products, for the property’s sanitation processes.

Several operational procedures have been adjusted to minimize physical contact, without losing the personal connection and the sense of genuine care for the guests. These include contactless check-in, online payment options and the use of QR codes to access menus of the restaurants, and other important directories that guests need to read to know more about the resort facilities.
The resort also initiated Online Connections, which utilizes social media platforms to connect with its fanbase to discuss tips, how-tos, recreational activities and other things guests can do while at the resort (or even in their homes).
