As one of the best liked women of the New Guard, Brenda Ngo comes across as someone who loves being around people. It is not surprising because being amiable is a trait she practices as a successful real estate developer. She is also in the business of manufacturing molded plastic.
The last country Brenda visited was Canada. She celebrated Christmas with relatives and friends in Vancouver and stayed at the Fiarmon Hotel. She also stayed at her condo in Richmond until the first week of February. Not long after she returned to Manila, the government declared the lockdown.
In her home, Brenda enjoys looking at the paintings by Angel Cacnio, Jeff Dixon, Manuel Baldemor and Oscar De Zalameda. She says, “I love Cacnio’s style and the way he mixes the paint and the color. I also enjoy Jeff Dizon. I love the colors and the way he paints is unique. I bought it because the subject of the painting is holding a nice musical instrument. Each time I see the painting, it makes me feel relaxed. I love looking at it especially with soft and romantic music in the background.”

Favorite lockdown wear at home ---- “I love wearing comfortable, loose and silky clothes at home. My favorite brands are Natori and Ricardo Prieto.”
Morning soap for cleansing -- “I go for the Body Shop Vitamin C daily glow cleansing polish or glycerin soap for my morning cleansers.”
Perfume ---- “I love Nina Ricci Premier Jour, Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede, and the Louise Vuitton Apogee. It really depends on my mood.”
Skin care ---- “I religiously cleanse my face every day. In the morning, I use the Body Shop Vitamin C glowing cleansing polish, La Mer Cool Gel moisturizer cream, La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50+ FPS/SPF and UVB+UVA sunblock. At night, I apply the Caudalie Radiant Serum and La Mer cool gel moisturizer after cleaning. Hydration and good sleep are necessities as well when it comes to my skin care.”
Favorite casual shoe brand ---- “I go for Stella McCartney.”
Breakfast fare ----“Upon waking up, I drink two to three glasses of Kangen water. After an hour, I eat one soft boiled egg, one cup of vegetables or a few slices of boiled sweet potatoes. Then I drink a glass of basil seed with 600 MGO Manuka honey or a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.”
