Apocalypse Child streams on Netflix
Fans will be able to rewatch Ford (Sid Lucero) surfing ocean waves and life as he searches for his real identity in the internationally-acclaimed Filipino indie film Apocalypse Child set to stream on Netflix starting 20 December.
Apocalypse Child tells the story of a surfing instructor named Ford who has been told that his father is Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola. With his urge to know the truth, he goes on a quest to find out if what he’s been told all his life is real.
The film took home the bacon from numerous award-giving bodies including the QCinema Film Festival in 2015, the Gawad Urian in 2016 and Best Feature Film at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival.
