Cravings has ramped up its online service to run a smooth ordering system for people to order cakes for delivery or pick-up
As we continue to deal with the pandemic and the successive typhoons that hit the country, leaving trails of destruction behind, life goes on.
The good news is that there are many reasons to stay positive and celebrate life — birthdays, anniversaries, a home-based business idea that clicked, reunion with a locked-down loved one, a clean bill of health, a big project done. Available for delivery straight to one’s doorstep are Cravings’ popular Chocolate Caramel Cake (baked from an original recipe by the mother-and-daughter team of Annie Guerrero and Badjie Trinidad, the moist chocolate cake is bathed in chocolate sauce and topped with swirls of decadent caramel); Devil’s Food Cake (rich, dark chocolate cake with light coffee custard layer, enrobed in notso-sweet marshmallow icing); Carrot Cake ( moist carrot cake with pineapple chunks and chopped walnuts, generously frosted with rich cream cheese icing) and Cherry Walnut Cheesecake ( creamy cheesecake laden with walnuts and swirled with cherry topping).
Also on the delivery menu are The Impossible Cake (rich chocolate cake topped with vanilla flan and dripping with caramel sauce); Fruit and Cheese square (layers of fresh fruits, fresh cream, gelatin and cream cheese on top of a cookie crumble crust, best served chilled or frozen); Chocolate Midnight Madness (dense, moist and rich chocolate cake, covered in premium Belgian chocolate icing from top to bottom); Original Chilled Blueberry Cheesecake ( an all-time bestselling cheesecake with a cookie crust, best served chilled) and Mocha Praline Crunch Cake (a sponge cake packed with coffee flavor, smothered with mocha buttercream, filled in and topped with a premium mix of praline crunch).

Add to these the limited-edition, seasonal cake creations for the Christmas season: bibingka cake soufflé (a bibingka, cake and soufflé in one, a coconut-based cake with fluffy salted egg custard, topped with shavings of queso de bola and slices of salted egg and served with salted egg cream sauce); dayap cake (three layers of soft vanilla chiffon, generously filled with citrus dayap curd and hugged by rich cream cheese frosting); berry mascarpone cake (two layers of vanilla chiffon cake, with mascarpone cream and fresh berries) and peanut butter and jam cake (two layers of chocolate chiffon, with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and jam filling, topped with peanut butter frosting, chocolate, Chocnut, peanuts and pecan).
Also available for delivery this Christmas season is the Happiness Box, which is a box full of treats, such as S’mores, bars and cookies.
To enhance the cake delivery experience, Cravings recently launched its Cake Concierge, a service that allows customers to have customized cakes made, or simply choose cake toppers and candles and personalize greetings and messages.
We can, for example, have a two-tiered Mocha Praline Crunch Cake or Blueberry Cheesecake made and then crowned with a handpicked cake topper.
