It’s quite hard to imagine how much relief goods arrive every day into the warehouse of GMA Foundation in Culiat, Quezon City, but it’s easy to recognize just how much people are willing to give. A warehouse worker sorted them out and repacked them into bags. I asked him: “Sir, what’s the littlest amount one can donate?” He replied in Filipino that no help is too small to make one’s heart big.

The recent successive calamities that hit the country caused extensive damages to property and misery to millions of Filipinos. GMA Foundation staff go to work every day thinking of the people who will benefit from the goods.

The warehouse worker said they are just the go-between for those who want to help and donate.

Today, Primehomes came to help. The real estate company has made a difference to the communities it serves. It understands that business is not just about the bottom line, but also about social responsibility. Its focus: communities that matter, not just its own, but beyond, recognizing that the company is part of something bigger.

Primehomes has partnered with various non-profit organizations to fulfill its commitment to worthy causes. This time, it teamed up with GMA Foundation to make sure the aid actually goes to the people who most need it.

No help is too small to make one’s heart big.

Recognizing that businesses should provide solutions to the challenges of the times, Primehomes has given back to the most vulnerable sectors of society, the people who suffer the most during calamities.

“Consistency is key here,” Primehomes Corporate Management group head Earl Villarin said. “Primehomes, as a family, has been very consistent about helping out people all throughout the year. But now it has become more pronounced because, instead of using the money for our employees’ Christmas party, it’s the decision of everyone in Primehomes to waive it and use it to help people.” “[ When push comes to shove] we come together. It’s not only our company; we aspire that all the Filipinos who have the capacity to help reach out,” Jojo Hipolito, Primehomes marketing head, said.
