UPS powers healthcare

-

The healthcare industry uses different vital equipment and infrastructure that require a constant and reliable power supply. A few seconds of power shortage or blackout can immediately result in devastating consequences.

Vertiv Philippines, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, believes that an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is paramount in providing healthcare facilities with the emergency power it needs during power outages.

Installing UPS systems around these facilities can prevent costly downtime as it provides instant, short-term power supply until generators are fully operational. UPS also improves the reliability and efficacy of a facility’s electrical system, Vertiv added.

UPS also ensures uninterrupted operations and is able to protect equipment containing vital information of patients to prevent data loss.
