The Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) and the Anti-Kidnapping Action Committee (AKAK) was responsible for the rescue after taking immediate action to the reported kidnapping of a Chinese woman.
“This successful kidnap rescue operation only goes to show the dedication and commitment of the Philippine National Police (PNP) against organized crime,” Police chief Debold Sinas said in a statement Thursday.
Citing reports from PNP-AKG head Brig. Gen. Jonel Estomo, Sinas said the Chinese woman was rescued at a medical diagnostics clinic along N.S.
