Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin landing in Phl as soon as it’s safe
The top Korean celebrity couple will appear in a new TV ad as Smart Communications brand ambassadors

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are landing on Philippine soil as soon as it’s safe to travel.
That’s what Smart Communications confirmed at a video conference with media in connection with the Korean couple’s role as brand ambassadors of the Philippine telecom company.
They turned into household names wordlwide via the K-Drama series Crash Landing On You, where Hyun Bin played North Korean Army officer Capt. Ri Jeong-hyeok and Son Ye-jin portrayed wealthy businesswoman Yoon Se-ri who cross paths after a paragliding incident and fall in love.
The actors eventually became a real-life couple.
Smart signed them up individually for endorsement deals.
Hyun Bin first came out in the “Simple Smart Ako” campaign, followed by Son Ye-jin in Smart Signature.
And then they appeared together in a new ad.
A second ad featuring the couple will be released soon.
At the video conference, the couple delivered their personal messages to their Filipino fans.
Hyun Bin said: “Hello. I have been given another chance to meet you all through Smart’s new campaign video. I hope that you’ll continue to support Smart and me. I wish you a Happy New Year. Please keep yourselves healthy and warm this year. Thank you.”
Son Ye-jin shared, “I may not be able to meet you all in person but I’m very happy that I can greet you through this video. Last year was a difficult year for everyone. I sincerely hope that you become happier this year. I hope to see you soon. Stay healthy until then.”
