Roque leads Mariveles Covid facility opener
MARIVELES ,Bataan— Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque and local officials here led the inauguration of another new Quarantine Facility in barangay Alas-asin, Mariveles, Bataan on Thursday.
Roque congratulated local officials led by Mayor Jocelyn P. Castañeda and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) headed by its district engineer Ulysses Llado for the successful setting up of the new Mariveles Quarantine Facility in Barangay Alas-asin.
Engr. Llado said the Covid facility was constructed by the DPWH.
The Covid facility here can now treat residents under quarantine scheme through the full supervision of Mariveles Municipal Health Office (MHO) headed by the Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Gerald Sebastian.
Engr. Llado said there are three clusters in the facility which can house at least 60 patients.
Mayor Castañeda also expressed her gratitude on the success of the project, as she also lauded the national and provincial government support of the facilities.
The mayor expounded her recognition to the support of Engr. Llado, District Engineer of DPWH-2nd District of Bataan, Engr. Ildefonso Tarriela Jr.-Municipal Engineer, Engr. Glady Glochiegre Dacion-Municipal Planning and Developmnet Office Head, Dr. Gerald Sebastian - Municipal Health Office Head, the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Municipal Vice Mayor Angelito Rubia and SB Officials, MHO Staff and other employees.
Also attending the opening rites were Municipal administrator Angel “Boboy” Peliglorio, barangay officials of Alas-asin.
