Derek on relationship with Ellen: ‘There’s a spark’

Derek Ramsay seems happily in love, again, this time with Ellen Adarna.
After weeks of speculation, the Kapuso actor confirmed his relationship with the sexy star in an exclusive interview with pep. ph on 26 February.
“We just really are enjoying each other’s company. Sobra (So much),” Derek said.
Derek, in November 2020, had confirmed he and fellow GMA Network star Andrea Torres had called it quits after a year of being in a relationship.
As close neighbors, Derek and Ellen often have dinners and workout sessions together. It was also a few weeks ago when the 44-year-old actor was seen on a trip with the 32-year-old actress and her son in Anilao, Batangas. Multiple sources also said she joined the hunk actor’s family dinner on Valentine’s day.
Further into the exclusive report, Derek revealed that they have been in a relationship for a month. He said, “It’s not a normal relationship. Hindi siya yung may parang ligawan.”
He added, “Well, she said that it feels like one year.”

Previously, Derek was in a relationship with Angelica Panganiban (2006 to 2012), who was linked for a time with actor
John Lloyd Cruz, who was Ellen Adarna’s ex-partner from 2017 to 2019.
Derek also was in a brief romantic relationship with Cristine Reyes who was also rumored to have dated John Lloyd. In 2008, Ruffa Gutierrez got involved with John Lloyd. However, they called it quits in 2011. The former beauty queen was seen in a dinner party with Derek and Ellen on 11 January.
“Like I told you, people have their right to express their opinion. But I really don’t know how to react or say to those issues that we are just exchanging partners,” Ramsay was quoted as saying in an earlier pep.ph report.
It was just coincidence and blabbermouths shouldn’t give much thought to it as they “aren’t those type of people,” Ramsay added.
