Get back into the groove

The 2021 Santana has been especially crafted to be more alluring in order to make Filipinos fall in love with it all over again

It’s the year for you to “re-emerge” — figuratively and literally. After months of careful sheltering and weathering whatever challenges 2020 could dish out, a bright and full year ahead is spread out for you and your young family. It’s time to come out, get back into the groove back on track to what you’ve been always intending to do — buy your first Volkswagen and get to where you’ve always wanted — and needed — to be in.

There’s a Volkswagen vehicle that perfectly matches your upbeat mood — a German-engineered subcompact sedan that exudes the same spirit of hopeful, independent youth that’s more than ready to take on grown-up responsibilities. Its name is Santana — and for 2021 — there’s an extra spring to its step.

The 2021 Santana packs the features and amenities of its previous models into an updated edition of the 180 MPI AT S and the 180 MPI AT SE variants.

The 1.5-liter engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and is capable of generating maximum power of 110hp and 145 N-m of torque. Equipped with BlueMotion technology, it results to frugal fuel consumption that ensures your drives — whether they be those long, out-of-towners or those quick in-city trips — will not only give you and your family driving and riding comfort, but will also guarantee your financial peace of mind.

Filipinos fall in love with it all over again. It has one of the longest wheelbases in its class for a stable ride and enhanced comfort. Automatic headlights with Leaving Home and Coming Home function, front fog lamps, intermittent control wipers with rain sensor, and a sunroof are also available for the 2021 Santana 180 MPI AT SE.

Its renewed interiors make you both excited and relaxed. The essential power features are included in the S variant, while additional specs are available for the SE. These include: leather and fabric seat material, a front center armrest with height adjustment, front and rear door pockets with bottle holder, front and rear reading lights, and a multifunction steering wheel with cruise control. Not to mention the SE’s touchscreen infotainment system with radio, USB, Bluetooth, and six speakers. An optional seven-inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also available as a dealer option.

Apart from having dual front airbags, ESP, ABS and ASR standard in the 2021 Santana 180 MPI AT S, additional features are also equipped in the SE variant including driver and front passenger side airbags and rear parking distance control. Combine these safety features with a comprehensive three-year or 100,000 km-warranty coverage (whichever comes first), yearly preventive maintenance service or every 10,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, the new Santana provides compelling reasons for Filipinos to experience the motoring lifestyle that only Volkswagen can offer.

This Santana is offered in three body colors: Polar White, Reflex Silver and Deep Black with competitive prices of P755,000 for the Santana 180 MPI AT S and P898,000 for the Santana 180 MPI AT SE.
