ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE, HINDI PINALAWIG…

Ibinaba na sa modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ang mga lugar sa ilang bansa bago magtapos ang ipinatutupad na enhanced community quarantine sa tinaguriang NCR Plus bubble, ayon sa Malakanyang nitong Linggo.

Inanunsyo ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na ipatutupad na ang MECQ sa National Capital Region (NCR), Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite at Rizal simula Abril 12 hanggang Abril 30.

Isasailalim rin sa MECQ ang Santiago City sa Isabela, Quirino province at Abra hanggang Abril 30.

Kung matatandaan, inirekomenda ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na isailalim sa MECQ ang NCR Plus bubble dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases dito.

“For MECQ-NCR Plus, dedicated COVID-19 beds in isolation, quarantine and health facilities must be increased through the joint effort of the Department of Education, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the Department of Public Works and Highways, and the Department of Health,” saad ni Roque.

“There must be an adequate number of COVID-19 dedicated beds, complementary health human resources, and well-coordinated triage and referral systems in place at the local government units (LGU), isolation and quarantine facilities, and health facilities,” dagdag niya.

Paliwanag pa niya, kailangan ring makipag-ugnayan ang mga ospital sa mga temporary treatment at monitoring facilities para sa moderate home care upang mabawasan ang pagkapuno ng mga ospital.

“This can be done provided there is proof of capacity to do adequate quarantine/isolation,” ani Roque.

Sinabi rin ng tagapagsalita ng Palasyo na ang mga local government units (LGU) sa NCR Plus ay dapat ring magtayo ng local telehealth triaging systems upang mapabilis ang proseso ng pagbibigay-lunas at patient referral advice.

“They are urged to prioritize the generation of demand for vaccination to those with highest risk for severe disease and death, particularly Priority Groups A2 and A3 of the National Deployment and Vaccination Plan for COVID-19,” sabi ni Roque.

Samantala, isasailalim naman sa general community quarantine hanggang sa katapusan ng buwan ang Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan, Isabela at Nueva Vizcaya provinces sa Region 2, Batangas at Quezon provinces sa Region 4-A, Tacloban City, Iligan City, Davao City at Lanao del Sur.

Ang ibang mga lugar naman sa bansa na hindi nabanggit ay isasailalim sa modified general community quarantine.
