San Juan giving boosters
As of 3 December 2021, San Juan only has 16 active Covid-19 cases
The local government of San Juan City has started administering Covid-19 booster shots to all persons with comorbidity, essential workers, and the indigent population at the FilOil Flying V Center.
Residents who have received their second dose of any vaccine brand six months ago are now eligible to get their booster shots while those who received Janssen at least three months ago may also register and receive the booster shot.
“This rollout will be of great help to San Juaneños. As we vaccinate more people, our cases keep getting lower and we can see that in our active cases. As of 3 December 2021, San Juan only has 16 active cases. This is the lowest number of cases we have recorded since March 2020,” Mayor Francis Zamora said.
“We welcome this progress because more and more people are going out and we need to protect them from the virus, especially now that a new variant has emerged,” Zamora added.
Residents who wish to get their booster shots can register with the city’s online vaccination portal and wait for their schedule that will be sent via text message from San Juan City.
