Around 907,931 or 77.19 percent of the target have completed their vaccination or received their second doses, the CHO said
Caloocan City has already administered 2,006,818 doses of Covid-19 vaccines, according to the latest record of its city health office (CHO).
Mayor Oscar Malapitan expressed satisfaction that 1,082,970 people, mostly his constituents, or 90 percent of their 1.2 million target vaccinees, have already received their respective first doses.
Around 907,931 or 77.19 percent of the target have completed their vaccination or received their second doses, the CHO said.
A total of 16,907 individuals have also received their booster shots, it added.
“Many many thanks to our healthcare workers and frontliners for their continuing sacrifices in our mass vaccination program,” Malapitan said.
“Most of all, many thanks to our countrymen who trusted the vaccine, who continue to be united in the fight against the pandemic,” he added.
Those who have not been vaccinated are encouraged by the city government to get vaccinated for their protection against the virus.
