Lapses may prolong pandemic

—GoSenator ‘Bong’ Go has appealed anew to the public to strictly follow the government’s health protocols to curb the spread of Covid-19.The senator issued the call in a series of relief efforts by his staff for barangay health workers in Imus City in Cavite. In his video message, Go said a minor lapse in compliance with the health standards may prolong the crisis further. His team gave out meals, vitamins and masks to a total of 493 barangay workers at Buhay na Tubig covered court.The distributi­on was conducted in batches, in compliance with health and safety protocols against Covid-19. Select people also received bicycles and shoes, as well as computer tablets for those students under hybrid learning. Go earlier issued an appeal for the government to provide cash incentives for the fully vaccinated members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program to increase the vaccine coverage among the lowest income groups.
