Engineer drowns in Ilocos

An engineer drowned Friday night along the seashore of Barangay Katipunan in Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

The victim was identified by the police as Jeffrey Ramos, 40, an electrical engineer and resident of the same barangay.

An initial investigation showed Ramos was spearfishing with his brother and another companion when he drowned in the deep part of the shore.
