2 slain over ‘moto’ theft

Two of three men who forcibly took a woman’s motorcycle early Monday were killed in an alleged shootout with the police, Batasan police station chief Lt. Col. Alexy Sonido said.

The suspects were yet to be identified at press time. Two revolvers with spent casings were retrieved from their possession. Responding policemen said the two fired at them, forcing them to shoot back.

They were declared dead on arrival at the East Avenue Medical Center.
