GMA's 'The World Between Us' streams on Netflix
The story begins when Louie is (Alden Richards) is taken under the wing of Rachel Libradilla (Dina Bonnevie), CEO of a top mobile phone manufacturing company in the Philippines. He meets Rachel’s children, Brian (Tom Rodriguez) and Lia (Jasmine Curtis-Smith).
GMA’s primetime series The World Between Us will stream on Netflix this June.
The drama stars Alden Richards as Louie Asuncion, the intelligent orphan with a knack for inventing things and who works his way up to prove that he is worthy of Lia’s love; Jasmine Curtis-Smith as Lia Libradilla, the lovable, compassionate youngest member of the affluent Libradilla family who falls for Louie; and Tom Rodriguez as Brian Libradilla, the stubborn and bullheaded heir of the clan who does not consider Louie his equal.

Louie and Lia become close and fall in love. However, they cannot reveal their relationship since Louie does not want to betray Rachel’s trust. He wants to be an asset to Rachel and, at the same time, prove he is worthy of Lia.
Louie rises up to hold an executive position in Prime Mobile, but Brian sets him up for a crime.
Will Louie regain his status, freedom and be with the only woman he loves? Will he forgive the people who have wronged him? Will his principles be enough to make him triumph in the end?
