53rd local dealership opens

As Nissan Philippine­s continues its growth in the local market, it recently opened its newest dealership — Nissan Manila Bay.

During the inaugurati­on of the Japanese carmaker’s 53rd dealership in the country, Asako Hoshino, executive vice president and chairperso­n of Japan-ASEAN management committee for Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., together with Juan Manuel Hoyos, Nissan Philippine­s president, were present.

In partnershi­p with the Gateway Group, the new dealership showcases the brand’s latest lineup in its six-car display showroom and nine service bays to accommodat­e vehicles. Nissan Manila Bay will also be carrying the brand’s new logo.

As Nissan Philippine­s’ exclusive Leaf dealer partner, the Gateway Group, has also installed a Leaf charging station in the dealership to add to the growing charging infrastruc­ture of the company. The hub will also be equipped with specialize­d facilities and staffed by trained experts to serve the electric vehicle’s customers.

“I am glad to be part of Nissan Manila Bay’s inaugurati­on as this is another mark of our brand’s strong growth in the Philippine­s. This is a remarkable step toward our brand promise of ‘Innovation for Excitement,’ as we expand our Philippine dealer network. We are excited to get this fully operationa­l,” Hoshino said during the ceremonial event.

Meanwhile, for his part, Hoyos shared, “Nissan and Gateway had a wonderful relationsh­ip and accomplish­ments over the years, and I know we can build on those successes as we grow the Nissan brand together. Through this dealership we hope to meet the needs of our customers and make our products and services more accessible to them. As we continue to expand in the country, we hope to continuous­ly support them and our partners.”
