53rd local dealership opens
As Nissan Philippines continues its growth in the local market, it recently opened its newest dealership — Nissan Manila Bay.
During the inauguration of the Japanese carmaker’s 53rd dealership in the country, Asako Hoshino, executive vice president and chairperson of Japan-ASEAN management committee for Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., together with Juan Manuel Hoyos, Nissan Philippines president, were present.
In partnership with the Gateway Group, the new dealership showcases the brand’s latest lineup in its six-car display showroom and nine service bays to accommodate vehicles. Nissan Manila Bay will also be carrying the brand’s new logo.
As Nissan Philippines’ exclusive Leaf dealer partner, the Gateway Group, has also installed a Leaf charging station in the dealership to add to the growing charging infrastructure of the company. The hub will also be equipped with specialized facilities and staffed by trained experts to serve the electric vehicle’s customers.
“I am glad to be part of Nissan Manila Bay’s inauguration as this is another mark of our brand’s strong growth in the Philippines. This is a remarkable step toward our brand promise of ‘Innovation for Excitement,’ as we expand our Philippine dealer network. We are excited to get this fully operational,” Hoshino said during the ceremonial event.
Meanwhile, for his part, Hoyos shared, “Nissan and Gateway had a wonderful relationship and accomplishments over the years, and I know we can build on those successes as we grow the Nissan brand together. Through this dealership we hope to meet the needs of our customers and make our products and services more accessible to them. As we continue to expand in the country, we hope to continuously support them and our partners.”
