Liza Soberano is stirring up social media.
The FilipinoAmerican actor has been drawing lots of views from her dance clips with K-pop stars and recent appearance on South Korean television.
On 23 July, former 2PM leader and hiphop labels AOMG and H1gher Music founder Jay Park posted on Instagram a video of him and Soberano dancing to his newly released single, “Need to Know.”
Hours later, two more videos surfaced — that of Soberano and iKon’s DK dancing on the latter’s personal TikTok account.
The 24-year-old celebrity was also tagged by Winner’s Lee Seung Hoon on an Instagram reel. The two recreated a TikTok trend in which one would ask, “What song are you listening to?”
In the video, Lee wanted to find out what song Soberano was listening to. “‘I Love U,’” she replied, referring to Winner’s latest single.
Soberano herself recently posted another TikTok video featuring IVE’s Yujin where they grooved to the popular #DearCupidChallenge.
Aside from these dance videos, Soberano has been tagged on Instagram in a photo with GOT7’s BamBam and Filipino-Australian actor-singer James Reid.
On 25 July, Soberano appeared on MBN’s reality show Not Hocance But Scance and said she would like to try working in projects in Korea.
This blitz is part of her recent signing as a talent of Careless Music, a record label founded by Reid and Bret Jackson.
Careless Music CEO Jeffrey Ho has posted photos of Soberano and Reid with music producers in the office of Korean company Starship Entertainment, with the caption, “Careless x Starship.” Starship’s talents include Monsta X, WSJN and IVE.
Soberano also visited YG Entertainment, home to Big Bang and Blackpink.
