The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration launched their first ‘Migrant’s Brew’ café space for visiting overseas Filipino workers inside their central office in Pasay City.

OWWA administrator Arnell Ignacio and Department of Migrant Workers Undersecretary PY Caunan led the launching of the café which is expected to provide more comfortable accommodations for migrant workers visiting the central

OWWA office.

“To our OFWs, you are most welcome here. Sit down, have coffee and take pictures. Why are we doing this? Because we care for you very much; we want your moods to be perfect, because we want you to feel loved when entering OWWA. This is free of charge,” Ignacio said.

The migrant workers have been given assistance and were also the first to experience the newly-launched “Migrant’s Brew.”

Ignacio said that he hopes for the creation of ‘Migrant’s Brew’ shops in 17 regional OWWA agencies and overseas offices.
