TESDA provides typhoon victims skills enhancement
The Technical education and Skills development authority recently provided assistance to residents affected by the recent severe tropical storm “Paeng,” particularly relief packs and the provision of skills training on construction-related programs.
In a memorandum issued on 2 November, TeSda director general danilo Cruz instructed all the agency’s regional directors to conduct their respective assistance, recovery and rebuilding activities in areas hit by “Paeng” on 29 October.
“TeSda embraces the distinct sympathetic nature of Filipinos to help our kababayans in distress. The agency ensures that interventions and appropriate assistance are immediately provided to the affected individuals,” Cruz said.
under his directive, the field offices were also directed to activate their respective disaster Team/Regional augmentation Team to ensure that affected areas would be assisted and provided interventions in terms of human resources and technical complementation.
