More modernized jeepneys seen

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The Land Transporta­tion Franchisin­g and Regulatory Board regional office disclosed that an additional 21 modernized jeepneys will soon ply the major routes in this province.

LTFRB regional director Nasrudin Talipasan said that three transport service cooperativ­es — the Kapampanga­n Transport Service Cooperativ­e, Lubao Transport Service Cooperativ­e and Guagua/Betis/Bacolor Transport Service Cooperativ­e — will launch the 21 air-conditione­d public utility jeepneys at the City Transport Terminal Phase 2 in Barangay San Juan here on 26 November.

Talipasan said the new modernized jeepneys will ply the routes of Angeles City — San Fernando via McArthur Highway; City of San Fernando — San Isidro; Lubao — City of San Fernando via Bacolor; Lubao — Guagua; City of San Fernando — Sasmuan via Guagua; Guagua — SM City Pampanga/ Robinsons Starmills via OG Road; and Guagua — SM City Pampanga/ Robinsons Starmills via Bacolor.
