More modernized jeepneys seen
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board regional office disclosed that an additional 21 modernized jeepneys will soon ply the major routes in this province.
LTFRB regional director Nasrudin Talipasan said that three transport service cooperatives — the Kapampangan Transport Service Cooperative, Lubao Transport Service Cooperative and Guagua/Betis/Bacolor Transport Service Cooperative — will launch the 21 air-conditioned public utility jeepneys at the City Transport Terminal Phase 2 in Barangay San Juan here on 26 November.
Talipasan said the new modernized jeepneys will ply the routes of Angeles City — San Fernando via McArthur Highway; City of San Fernando — San Isidro; Lubao — City of San Fernando via Bacolor; Lubao — Guagua; City of San Fernando — Sasmuan via Guagua; Guagua — SM City Pampanga/ Robinsons Starmills via OG Road; and Guagua — SM City Pampanga/ Robinsons Starmills via Bacolor.
