- BY MAR SUPNAD

ABUCAY, Bataan — The Philippine National Police here has launched a makeshift market which aims to provide extra income and livelihood for members of the Indigenous People especially the Aetas here.

Abucay police chief Major Dennis Duran said that the project is in line with the directive of PNP chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. which was implemented immediately by Bataan police director Col. Romelle Velasco.

The project — dubbed as “PNP Peace and Security Program MKK=K” — was held on 18 November where locally harvested agricultural food products from IPs are ferried to urban areas to be sold.

Previously, Duran conducted feeding and distribution of school materials to children at Barangay Wawa.
