4 suspects nabbed in P300K shabu bust

Authorities seized more than P300,000 worth of suspected shabu, and arrested four suspects in two separate buy-bust operations in Pasig City Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.

Around 7 p.m. Monday, police conducted a buy-bust operation Caliwag Street, Barangay Pinagbuhatan after buying suspected shabu from the suspect.

The 31-year-old suspect was identified only as alias Marvin, a resident of Barangay Pineda, also in this city.

Confiscated were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu worth P34,000 and the P200 buy-bust money.

At about 2 a.m. Tuesday, another buybust operation was launched in Barangay Sta. Lucia, also in this city, leading to the arrest of alias Pakets, 42; alias Javin, 23; and alias Joel, 27.

Eight pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu worth P340,000 were seized from the three suspects.

Operatives also recovered P1,000 buy-bust money and 29 pieces of fake one-thousand peso bill as boodle money.

The four suspects, now detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
