“Waking up to this.. Are we going backwards as a nation?” tanong n’ya sa inilagay n’yang caption sa isa niyang IG Story kalakip ang screenshot photo ng nasabing balita mula sa isang news outlet.

“The SOGIE bill has been a topic of discussion whenever I’m with my LGBTQIA+ friends and I’ve learned so much more about it over the years,” dagdag pa niya.

Sinabi pa ni Pia, equality ang main goal sa pagsusulong ng SOGIE bill at makikinabang dito even those who identified themselves as straight people.

“To be clear, it’s not about taking away any rights from straight people, and it’s not giving ‘special rights’ to the LGBTQIA+ community either,” pagdidiin ni Pia.

“It’s about EQUALITY. Yung pantay-pantay tayong lahat. So that our rights, safety, and well-being are protected. WE ALL NEED THIS,” dagdag niya. “Kahit ikaw na straight makikinabang ka dito. Please if you haven’t, a quick google search will tell you what the SOGIE bill is all about.”
