Sting ops yield P340K drugs

Authorities reported that an anti-illegal drug operation in Marikina City resulted in the arrest of three suspected drug peddlers while some P340,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized.

The suspects — identified as alias Creepy, alias Bangkay and alias Michael, all residents of Barangay Malanday, Marikina City — were said to be high-value individuals.

They were arrested in an operation conducted by operatives of the station drug enforcement unit of Marikina City Police Station at Camia Street, Minahan, Barangay Malanday, at about 11 p.m.

Confiscated from the suspects were pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, nine pieces medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, a blue coin purse, a blue pouch, a pair of scissors, P500 buy-bust money.

The confiscated drug evidence has an estimated weight of more or less 50 grams with a standard drug price of P340,000.
