‘Druggie’ couple falls

A live-in couple landed in jail after they were arrested by anti-drug operatives during the conduct of anti-criminality operation in Taguig City past midnight Tuesday.

Reports from the Southern Police District showed that the common-law partners were apprehended on 22 November along Quiapo Dos Cagayan De Oro Street, Barangay Maharlika Village, Taguig City. The couple was identified as Analyn Dela Cruz and Noel Navarro.

Initial reports disclosed that the suspects were chanced upon by the personnel of MCU Sub-Station 7 in an Anti-Criminality Operation through Oplan Galugad.

Their arrest resulted to confiscation of one .38 caliber revolver with six live ammunition and one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 4.9 grams amounting to P33,320.
