Manila LGU seeks ‘common building’ establishm­ent

The local government of Manila said that it is discussing with barangay leaders who still does not have offices to put up a common building that will house several barangays offices into a zone building.

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna said that most of the small barangays in Manila have no offices to work due to lack of open spaces or lots to house their individual offices.

She added that one of the possible solutions that they see is the establishm­ent of a building which will house various barangay zone offices.

The lady mayor disclosed that Manila has 896 barangays and admitted that most of the barangays have no offices.
