After getting tired of the ill effects of chemicalbased skin products, tyff Short established One earth Organics using her P37,500 savings to provide a brighter future for her son. “the goal of One earth Organics has always been to make a difference in life, whether in letting our consumers feel beautiful or in empowering our partners and distributors to have their own business,” ceO and founder Short said.

Since 2013, through innovative offerings, the brand resonated and revolutionized the local beauty landscape. One earth Organics’ multi-awarded hero products include the lightening and moisturizing Under arm therapy Set, the natural and organic whitening and sweat and odorcontrolling antibacterial Deo Spray and the 5D Beauty Blends serums.

“One earth Organics was never just a source of beauty or selling beauty products and skincare essentials. it has always been a source of inspiration, motivation and empowerment,” Short revealed in a recent intimate media event “Organics never Fade” on Friday evening, 18 november, at raffles makati. hosted by the reigning miss Universe Philippines charity Pauline amelinckx, Short shared her vision for the brand and the company’s struggles at the height of the pandemic.

in the past two years, One earth Organics ceased operations and products have expired, which resulted in millions in losses. Short narrated 2020 was challenging and 2021 was a different animal. She was left with three employees and zero leadership team. She felt that she was back in 2013, the year when she started to develop organic beauty solutions. having touched and empowered countless lives with her survival and success story, she fought back with her only driving force, her son.

“i approached him and told him we can leave everything behind and start fresh in another country. We can continue what we’ve been doing, but we need to use our life savings to sustain the company,” single mother Short said.

She decided to reinvest all her savings to re-establish the brand. With the help from her friends, distributors and new leadership team on board, the brand got back on track in July. “We’re back to our pre-pandemic status. We have 23 direct employees and 60 store ambassadors. i think we’re ending the year with 90-plus employees, “Short added.

Short revealed that One earth Organics’ key plans is to continue its pandemic-disrupted goals, to strengthen its foundation and relationship with its distributors and retail partners. it will also continue to produce innovative products and launch more collections, not just for women but for the entire family.

“We offer a simpler and finer approach to beauty, one that’s not only skin-deep but one that goes self-deep,” Short concluded.
