Wanted QC drug peddlers collared

A confidenti­al informant reported to PS 1 about the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects

Quezon City Police District operatives arrested two individual­s who were ranked No. 4 and No. 8 Station Level Drug Priority targets during sting operations conducted in Quezon City.

The La Loma Police Station arrested its No. 4 Station Level Drug Priority target identified as Eric Tala Baetiong and No. 8 wanted Edmond Cumbe Espiritu, both residents of Barangay Apolonio Samson.

Initial reports revealed that a confidenti­al informant reported to PS1 about the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects, which prompted authoritie­s to set up a buy-bust operation on 26 November 2022.

The sting operation was conducted at Sampaguita Street corner Kaingin Road in Barangay Apolonio Samson in coordinati­on with PDEA-RONCR.

An undercover cop posed as poseur buyer and bought a sachet of suspected shabu from the suspects.

Aside from the buy-bust money, seized were seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at P3,400.

The arrested priority level drug suspects will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehens­ive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
