Wanted QC drug peddlers collared

A confidential informant reported to PS 1 about the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects

Quezon City Police District operatives arrested two individuals who were ranked No. 4 and No. 8 Station Level Drug Priority targets during sting operations conducted in Quezon City.

The La Loma Police Station arrested its No. 4 Station Level Drug Priority target identified as Eric Tala Baetiong and No. 8 wanted Edmond Cumbe Espiritu, both residents of Barangay Apolonio Samson.

Initial reports revealed that a confidential informant reported to PS1 about the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects, which prompted authorities to set up a buy-bust operation on 26 November 2022.

The sting operation was conducted at Sampaguita Street corner Kaingin Road in Barangay Apolonio Samson in coordination with PDEA-RONCR.

An undercover cop posed as poseur buyer and bought a sachet of suspected shabu from the suspects.

Aside from the buy-bust money, seized were seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at P3,400.

The arrested priority level drug suspects will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
