Navoteños receive boats

the City Government of navotas has partnered with the Department of Agriculture for the Enhanced Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Financial Grant Assistance Program.

Mayor John rey tiangco and DA Assistant Secretary Kristine Evangelista signed a memorandum of agreement that would fund the provision of fiberglass boats for 30 registered navoteño fisherfolk.

the 30 boats would have a total cost of P5 million.

Previous Kadiwa financial assistance from DA was used to purchase nets and other fishing gear, which were distributed to qualified fisherfolk beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries of the navoBangka will undergo training on boat construction, repair, and maintenance from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic resources.
