Gov’t suspends number coding on Bonifacio day

The Metropolit­an Manila Developmen­t Authority has suspended the number coding scheme today, Bonifacio day.

In a statement, the MMDA said the implementa­tion of the Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or number coding scheme is suspended from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“On this day, vehicles with license plates ending in 5 and 6 covered by coding every Wednesday can travel on the main streets of Metro Manila during the said coding hours,” the agency said.
