Expert alarmed over vax-related deaths

The FDA report came out last year and with the ongoing vaccination on Covid-19, for sure the death toll has increased

A forensics expert from the Public Attorney’s Office-Forensics Division yesterday told the Quezon City Regional Trial Court that the over 2,500 deaths related to Covid-19 vaccine were alarming thus the mass inoculation for minors must be stopped.

Director Dr. Erwin Erfe of PAO-FD, made the remark when he took the witness stand on Tuesday during the continuation of the trial against those involved in the mass vaccination.

While being cross-examined by lawyers from the Office of the Solicitor General, the counsel for the respondents, namely, former Department of Health secretary Francisco Duque 3rd, acting DoH Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire and the agency’s Public Health Services Team, Erfe was asked by Judge Maria Cherell de Castro-Sansaet of Branch 222, herself, as to the level of the seriousness of the adverse effects of the vaccines.

“Your honor, it is seriously alarming,” said Erfe, also a lawyer.

“It’s normal that there are adverse effects for every vaccine but these must not be serious and there must be no deaths unlike with Covid-19 vaccines,” he added.

The expert witness cited the actual data from Philippines’ Food and Drug Administration of 2,573 deaths related to the Covid-19 vaccine since the vaccination began in March 2021 until July 2022.

Figures on vaccine-related deaths: 12 of them were from ages 5 to 11 years old, 1,470 from 60 years old and above, 702 from age group of 40 to 59 years old, 332 from ages 18 to 39 years old and, 39 from ages 12 to 17 years old and the remaining 18 were, however, not identified as to what age group they were classified.

The FDA had previously said that the deaths did not necessarily mean the Covid-19 vaccine was the cause.

The FDA said on its Reports of Suspected Adverse Reaction to Covid-19 vaccines (10 March 2021 to 25 July 2022), “Underlying condition or pre-existing medical conditions causing fatal events are usually coincidental on the use of the vaccine.”

Erfe said after the completion of their cross-examination on him, the court must stop the mass vaccination for minors saying the number of deaths is enough as a basis.

“The FDA report came out last year and with the ongoing vaccination on Covid-19, for sure the death toll has increased,” he said.

Erfe told the court that the FDA report would justify the claims of the parents who filed the petition to stop the ‘experimental’ Covid-19 vaccination especially for ages 5 to 11 years old which they described as unconstitutional.

He and PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta, who serves as principal counsel for the parent-petitioners, have been insisting that there must be a screening and clearance from doctors or specifically from pediatricians before one, who has comorbidities, is injected with Covid-19 vaccine.

It’s normal that there are adverse effects for every vaccine but these must not be serious and there must be no deaths unlike with Covid-19 vaccines.
