Kia adds 2 dealerships

-

Riding the wave of a dramatic 76 percent sales growth in 2021, Kia Philippines is further accelerating its aggressive expansion with the launch of two new dealerships: Kia Otis and Kia Marikina. These new sites not only mark the 43rd and 44th Kia dealerships in the nation but also come as a testament to the automaker's resilience in the face of the industry's challenges.

The mastermind behind these strategic additions is the Autohub Group, a renowned entity with more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry. With a portfolio boasting 22 multinational brands and over 65 dealer branches across the country, the Autohub Group is set to invigorate the Kia brand with its dynamic business strategies and commitment to excellence.

Tucked in the heart of bustling Manila, Kia Otis is set to deliver a seamless automotive experience to those residing or working around Manila Bay and the Port Area.

On the other hand, Kia Marikina is ready to cater to the ever-expanding population in the shoemaking capital of the Philippines and its sprawling urbanized eastern countryside.

The new Kia dealerships encapsulate the essence of Kia's "Movement that Inspires" philosophy.

Kia Philippines president Manny Aligada underscores the significance of the openings, saying, “This event brings a Movement that Inspires closer to the people. Opening not just one — but two — new dealerships is indeed a milestone for us. We are confident that Kia Otis and Kia Marikina will bring even more joy to our treasured customers under the experienced management of the Autohub Group."

Aligada adds that Autohub Group’s close to 25-year experience and network of sites makes the Kia brand more accessible to its market.

The excitement doesn't stop there. Autohub Group's president, Willy Tee Ten, shares his optimism about the recent partnership.

"Kia is very desirable, its model mix is very timely and we feel that it is a perfect fit for our growing portfolio of trusted car brands. The brand has shown strong growth and has massive potential, and that’s what we need now in Autohub," he said.

This confident declaration aligns with Autohub's recent activities, including the launch of their own YouTube channel, the initiation of the first-ever one-stop Autohub Showroom, and the reinvigoration of the Autohub Institute of Technology.

Indeed, the rapid growth of Kia Philippines, fueled by the robust sales of models like the Stonic, Soluto and K2500 truck, suggests a bright future ahead. With the upgrade in their workers' technical skills and the increased availability of replacement parts, Kia has gained the trust of more Filipinos.

The partnership with Autohub Group seems to be another step towards a bolder future and a testament to Kia's commitment to providing an enhanced ownership journey.

In a separate statement, Aligada says that they are on track to receive units of their first electric vehicle, the EV6, in the next few months for around 50 pre-orders. He also adds that as exciting as the EV revolution is for the brand, they will continue to serve their customers with ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles for the foreseeable future, while they wait for the EV infrastructure to become better established and achieve stability.

As the curtains rise for Kia Otis and Kia Marikina, customers can look forward to the unparalleled service that these dealerships promise. In turn, this launch marks a significant stride for Kia Philippines and Autohub Group, promising an exciting and inspiring partnership ahead and confidence for their customers and the industry.
