The locals won’t be taking the entry of foreign brands sitting down. Armed with exciting concepts, a hole-inthe-wall space, and a good management team, the home growns are at it again, making the neighborhood feel the buzz with their restaurant concepts.
Think incubation hubs such as East Capitol Drive in Pasig City and Aguirre Street in Paranaque. To name a few, Silantro (Fil Mex Cantina by Chef Paulo De Venecia), Sunshine Kitchen (The Strip @ The Fort), and the quaint Spanish restaurant Calderon Cocina Tapas Y Bebidas in San Juan. They do come in various cuisines and formats and sizes. Yum, yum!
