Asian Food Channel's and one of Australia's leading celebrity chefs cum grill expert Sean Connolly shared his gastronomic expertise with guests during a recent visit to the Philippines. A delectable dinner held at Edsa Shangri-La's Palawan room showcased his skill at the grill, with a cooking demo for that evening's entree of Grilled Rib Eye Fillet with Miso Hollandaise, Fondant Potato and Water Cress. Chef Sean explained his philosophy to always buy the best possible meat, which was evident in the perfectly rendered portions we dined on. Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky smoothly balanced that dinner with a vertical tasting of distinctive vintages. The Solera 15 year old whisky provided depth and consistency that paired well with the meat and made for a unique food and beverage option.
