In line with their intent to produce authentic and high quality Filipino products, friends Vivien Go and Julie Alegrado first came up with fine coconut nectar syrup at a time when everyone else was doing coconut sugar. It clicked, and not long after, people began asking what else they could use the low-glycemic coconut nectar for, apart from sweetening beverages. That’s when other product applications like jams, preserves and its crunchy granola rolled in. “We had been recommending our syrups for pancakes and realized, why not just make the pancake mixes to go with them?” says Go. Now, we have three kinds of pancake mixes and three kinds of pure coconut nectar syrup: plain, vanilla-infused, orange-infused.” Breakfast has just become a lot healthier and yummier.
