It’s actually the opposite of the common perception that they’re stupid,” says Jomar Ignacio, a Great Dane breeder for nearly two decades. “They’re actually called the Apollo of dogs, because they’re very well-balanced.”
Fun fact: “They easily adapt the habits of their owners. If an owner is lazy, they become couch potatoes,” Ignacio says. The dynamic between Scooby and Shaggy suddenly makes perfect sense.
