ASUS, the worldwide top-three consumer notebook vendor, in its aim to provide a greater emphasis on PC gaming, founded the republic of Gamers (rog) in 2006. Since then, the rog has been dedicated on bringing innovative hardcore hardware to truly dedicated gamers.
ASUS Philippines in partnership with PC express held the #Strixunleashed event announcing the newest additions to the rog Strix family, exciting activities and products were on sale at the Sm North EDSA Skydome.
The company announced two new gaming notebooks in the ROG Strix family that will fit the bill: the 15.6-inch GL503VD and 17.3-inch GL703VD. Focusing on balanced price and performance with extra enhancements for gaming, both ship with a desktop-class Intel Core i7 CPU and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 GPU as standard equipment. They include an upgraded keyboard laced with rgb lighting, and they’re packed into portable chassis that is just as comfortable on the road as they are at home or in school. The prices were also announced by George Su, Country manager of ASUS Philippines as you can see on the photo above.
Consumers enjoyed an up to 70% off sale on the wide variations of ASUS notebooks, tablets, monitors, and ASUS rog gaming laptops. The ASUS vr-ready discrete graphics Geforce GTX 10 Series GPU gave the participants a free immersive virtual reality experience onsite. Those who tried the ASUS vr also had the chance to get a digital copy of their game via phone storage transfer or a flash drive.
A Tekken 7 Grand Tournament was also held during the event. visitors who registered online and onsite, and the media were invited to join the tournament. Using the ASUS republic of Gamers laptops, monitors, and accessories, the Tekken 7 grand tournament gave the participants an engaging gaming experience. The tournament participants vied for an ASUS rog laptop.
