“I think one of the advantages of the Gilas pool is that even despite the situation, hopefully, there are still guys who will be available to play in the next Fiba window,” sabi ni Alapag habang nasa Asia League Super 8 sa Macau East Asian Games Dome sa Macau mula sa ulat

ng Inquirer.net.

“It’s unfortunate with the suspensions, but hopefully it’s something we can learn and grow from, and we’ll still be able to put up a competitive team. Obviously, there’s still a lot of great talent that we have in our country,” sabi pa ni Alapag na bahagi ng silver medalist Gilas team sa 2013 Fiba Asia Championship.

Sinuspinde ng Fiba sina Calvin Abueva (6 games) Roger Pogoy, Carl Bryan Cruz at Jio Jalalon (5), Terence Romeo, Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario at Andray Blatche (3), Matthew Wright at Japeth Aguilar (1).
